Veterinarians — Multiple Positions
Veterinarians provide diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries in pet animals, as well as professional medical and nutritional diagnostics and treatment of companion animals.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries in companion animals
- Providing professional medical and nutritional diagnostics and treatment
- Performing routine surgeries on animals
- Maintaining detailed medical records
- Promoting preventative medicine and animal wellness
- Counseling clients in a consultative manner regarding their pets’ care and needs
- Directing and overseeing veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants
Qualifications
Requires a First Professional Degree of Doctor in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or its foreign equivalent. Candidates must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the State of California.
Compensation & Growth
$150,000 – $350,000+ per year
Our veterinarian compensation opportunities include a competitive base salary and personal production, allowing your earning potential to grow along with your practice.

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Lone Tree Animal Care is looking to add experienced RVT’s, Veterinary Assistants, CSR’s and Kennel Assistants to our team. Several positions include weekends.
Technicians and Assistants must possess excellent customer service, computer skills, making educated recommendations according to our hospital protocol, reading and understanding medical records as well as technical skills.
Registered Veterinary Technician should be proficient at:
- IVC placement
- Anesthesia induction/intubation
- Anesthesia monitoring and recovery
- Dental experience is preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn dentistry and surgical extractions
- Drug calculations
- Produce diagnostic radiographs
- Run in house lab work
- Knowledge of Vaccination protocols and flea/tick/heartworm prevention
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Veterinary/Kennel Assistants
Lone Tree Animal Care is looking to add experienced RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, CSRs, and Kennel Assistants to our team. Several positions include weekends.
Technicians and Assistants must possess excellent customer service and computer skills, be able to make educated recommendations according to our hospital protocols, read and understand medical records, and demonstrate the technical skills required for their position.
Veterinary Assistants should be proficient at:
- IVC placement
- Monitoring anesthetized patients
- Monitoring and recovering surgical patients
- Taking diagnostic radiographs
- Running in-house lab work
- Understanding vaccination protocols and flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
- Providing excellent communication and customer service
Responsibilities of a Kennel Assistant include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning enclosures
- Feeding and caring for dogs and cats
- Walking dogs
- Bathing dogs and cats
- Doing laundry
- Administering medications to dogs and cats
- Assisting doctors and technicians when necessary
Customer Service Representative
- Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
- Have good computer skills
- The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- The ability to use email/fax and multi-line telephone
- Must be able to handle money and make change
- Making educated recommendations according to hospital protocol
- Reading and understanding medical records
